Seeing in a New Way

It's always fun and invigorating to try something new in photography.  Recently I teamed with a friend of mine, Charles Needle and we made a series of radiographs (xrays) of flowers, plants, and shells. For technical reasons we used a mammogram machine provided by Teton Radiology of Idaho Falls to make the radiographs. Then I decided to use texturing to give the images a more "earthy" and less clinical feel. Here are a few of the results...

Flying High

The Spiral Jetty in northern Utah is seen from an elevated location. A drone offers new and exciting ways to view our world. Amazing technology! You can see more aerial photography here.
