About James Neeley
Photography has been a love of James Neeley's for years. With an eye for form and composition, and a passion for beautiful landscapes, James is at home behind the eyepiece of a camera. Digital photography and high dynamic range techniques (HDR) have invigorated his goal of capturing in an image, not only the beauty but the feeling of a scene for those who view his work.
A retired radiologist from Idaho Falls, James has spent many work days examining hundreds of medical images of patients. He feels that this work has refined a critical eye for patterns and detail and his artist mother has given him a painterly approach in an artistic search for the beauties of nature.
While photography brings James much satisfaction, it is his wife, family and faith where he has his greatest joys! Fortunately, his 5 married children and 13 grandchildren live in beautiful parts of the world where he can take a few pictures while visiting.
